COVID-19 Safety Protocols & Precautions at Greystone on Golden Lake
The health, safety and well-being of our guests and staff is paramount at Greystone on Golden Lake. We are closely and actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are adhering to the guidelines put forth by the federal and provincial governments and local health officials.
We have implemented important protocol to ensure the healthy and safety of our guests, our staff, and the rural communities around our resort. Before booking with us, please review the information below.
Bring everything you need with you
The Provincial Government has expressed concern over individuals visiting rural areas and putting additional strain on their grocery stores and local amenities. We do not want to contribute to this strain. We ask that guests bring everything they need with them.
We will be providing guests the opportunity to support local producers by ordering through our online store. Click here to order local produce that will be ready for you upon arrival.
Advanced Cleaning Measures
While cleanliness has always been a priority at Greystone, this year we will be taking advanced measures and all surfaces will be thoroughly disinfected prior to your arrival. Cleaning staff will wear personal protective equipment including gloves and will be utilizing medical grade disinfectants. There will be increased cleaning and disinfection in all guest accommodations with particular attention to door knobs/handles, light switches, washrooms and other high touch surfaces.
While all of our cottages are located at a substantial distance from one another, we encourage all our guests to practice social distancing practices throughout their stay at Greystone on Golden Lake. We have placed four new fire-pits on site for 2020 season.
Advanced Self Check-In
We are introducing advanced self check-In for all our guests. With permission we will charge the remaining balance to the credit card on file and send you detailed self check-in instructions and directions on how to get to your cottage once you arrive at Greystone. We will also be sending an online COVID-19 Self-Assessment questionnaire that must be completed before arrival.
If you feel uncomfortable traveling during this time, we are happy to transfer your booking to your preferred date later for no additional charge or to offer you a credit for future use at Greystone on Golden Lake. For further information please contact email@example.com.
